“ This is a duplicate place for the same restaurant Stara Carinarnica. I posted this review also on the other Map position. Amasing restaurant in front of Danube River. I have no reason to consider that my experience with Serbian restaurants is relevant to anybody but me, because this experience is very limited. However, Stara Carinarnica it's unbelievable good and I was extremely pleased to find such awesome cooking in such a nice place, far from the crowded City Center, in the romantic Zemun area, on the Danube River banks. The fish sour soup is a masterpiece and so is the fish goulash. I never eat this joy for the mouth before, nor did I know that such a marvel exists. Like all goulash, I like to combine it with sauerkraut (sour pickled cabbage, as there is no English translation for the Romanian "varza murata" or the German "sauerkraut") which is surprisingly similar with the famous Romanian "varza acra". The gourmet pljeskavica is the best I had in Belgrade til today and it taste so different that I had no idea that pljeskavica might taste like that. The chocolat cake is also a masterpiece. Three layers of enjoyment, the top white milk mousse, the next one, a chocolate mousse, are laying down over the leaf cake. Awesome dinner in a cosy place with fireplace and nice and polite waiters, Stara Carinarnica is my favorite restaurant in Belgrade and, if you will pay a visit here, it may become your favorite restaurant too. Bon apetit. ”
